Students will learn how to refresh and revitalize their clothing through creative painting techniques and sustainable dyeing methods. They will explore using natural ingredients like turmeric, black beans, cabbage, and avocado pits to create eco-friendly dyes, gaining hands-on experience in giving garments a new life while promoting new skills students can use at home. We encourage students to keep any items they create that they might want to trade during a future clothing swap. Even if an item isn’t your style, it could be something another person would love to trade for something you want in our future clothing swap event.
