SRC Mock Presentation Practice & Feedback Sessions

The location for mock presentations will be determined and confirmed after the sign-up process is completed. Please refer to the event description for additional details.

The 20th Annual Student Research Conference (SRC) is fast approaching, and the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) is committed to helping students enhance their presentation skills and overall performance and ensure you are well-prepared to deliver a polished and professional presentation during the conference. Students can participate in Mock Presentations and Feedback Sessions to gain valuable practice and constructive feedback from faculty. These sessions are recommended as they provide an opportunity to refine content organization, improve delivery, polish visuals, stay within time limits, and prepare for Q&A sessions effectively.
 
Session Details:

Dates for Feedback Sessions: February 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, and 27th
Deadline to Sign Up: Wednesday, February 12, 2024. Click here to Sign-up.

How It Works: Students will present their research to a faculty audience and receive tailored feedback to improve key presentation components.
 
Scheduling Information:

The individual feedback sessions will be scheduled based on your provided availability.
Faculty Matching: While we strive to match you with faculty in your field, due to scheduling constraints, you may be paired with faculty outside your discipline. All faculty are equipped to provide valuable feedback to improve your presentation performance.
Submission of Availability: If you’re interested in participating, please submit your availability for February 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, or 27th by Wednesday, February 12, 2024 to allow time for scheduling.
